Two shows are the basis of these celebrations, and during the week there is music and other activities, provided by groups of local people. On the Sunday the first main act is the typical rounding up of heifers, which are run through the streets of the village and out into the countryside. The second show is an exhibition of horse-riding skills, a celebration linked to the customs of the village.
