Iron Age settlement of the Merchanas. It is located on two hill crests protected by the río Camaces and by walls. It may be accessed by two gateways and two doors which are still standing.

The boar that decorate the facade of the Casa del Conde and the Plaza del Mercado, come from the area around the settlement with its very particular landscape, as do the ceramic and marble pieces from Lumbrales which are exhibited in the museum.
