The watchtower is one more defensive fortress of Muslims against Christians. They are defensive systems of great history and meaning built by Muslims in places of high visibility against the attacks that prevented their conquest of the North in Soria. Those constructions, together with the natural border of the Duero, limited the ascent of those who, starting from the South, reached the Visigoth territories of Toledo.

The watchtower of the Enebral is built with thick walls of limestone ashlar locked with lime mortar. With a circular floor and cylindrical shape, its access is more complex for being to several meters above the ground, ten in this case. Of two floors plus the ground floor, as it is normal in these structures, this watchtower still presents its defensive appearance as an example of what was.
