On the banks of the Arandilla River, south of the province of Burgos, is located the historic Peñaranda de Duero.

Enjoy a trip to the past walking through the cobblestone streets and squares of one of the medieval jewels of Castile and León, where magnificent palaces and temples can be found such as the palace of the Counts of Miranda, the former collegiate church of Santa Ana, the pillory or roll of justice located in the Plaza Mayor or the castle.

The suckling pig roasted in a wood-fired oven, slaughtered sausages such as blood sausage and cheeses stand out on the gastronomic level along with the famous Ribera del Duero wines.
