Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion
The parish church, located in the center of the village of Barrio de Santa María, is a good example of Renaissance building but which retains a very slender Romanesque apse with a perfect Ashlar, in which two of its three windows you can still see.
The apse is covered by an altarpiece from the late XVI century, which hides some wall paintings which are dated around 1500, and attributed to the famous master of San Felices.
