The main altarpiece takes up the whole apse and consists of four Salomon columns covered by fruit bunches and leaves. Above the shrine stands a richly decorated image of Christ at the pulpit. There is a restored Christ on the Cross by a pupil of Gregorio Fernández standing at the top of the altarpiece.
