Parraces Abbey became one of the most powerful Abadengo’s seigneury of Castilla during the centuries XIV and XV, time of maximum splendor, when set in the Abbey a school and seminar that had life since 1567 until 1575, the year in which the seminary was moved to El Escorial and began its decline and the end with the sale of Church lands in 1836.
