Iroko
[Son, bolero, jazz, Salamanca folklore, varied music]

Born from a love for Cuban roots, Iroko owes its name to one of the most revered symbols of this beautiful Caribbean country: the Ceiba, a powerful tree, guardian of nature and time, which has seen the island's music flourish over the years and through different eras, and from whose wood countless instruments have been born. A passion for musical notes has brought together three Spaniards and a Cuban woman who seek to fuse genres such as son, bolero, jazz, and even Salamanca folklore, which, living in this beautiful land, was impossible to exclude. The songs that make up their repertoire sing of love, sadness, and those passions that we have all experienced in one way or another in life, the life that presents itself to us day after day, full of emotions. Attending an Iroko performance is simply a journey through magical moments, from the poetry of the lyrics to the exquisite execution of the melodies and rhythms. It is, in short, music to live by.
