Friday, September 12th, at 6 p.m. Graphic art workshop. Ages 7 and up.

My printed garden is a graphic proposal for printing plant elements from any nearby garden or orchard, along with other flat compositional elements such as wood, textiles, acetates... everything that can be "printed" becomes plates that will form part of our composition, achieving unique pieces, monotypes, of great beauty and plasticity.

The project seeks to explore the graphic possibilities that arise from the natural world around us in the recognition of the plants in our environment, as well as in exploring subjective languages between participants and different natural elements.

The orange tree, the bay leaf, the vine... the plants and other materials found in any garden will be the starting point and inspiration for attendees to learn and experiment with different traditional printing techniques. We will become collector-artists, where experimentation with technique becomes a fundamental pillar when it comes to enabling the reproduction and transfer of the graphic language of plants to a visual medium.

Environment, design, and art blend in this proposal that will leave you speechless due to its originality. Since the image is created from the imprint of a real leaf, it captures more dimensions than those provided by an illustration or photograph, such as scales, textures, veins, and more. A workshop with a marked exploratory and experimental nature.
