A book born from the desire to preserve the living memory of Sejas de Sanabria, a small town in northwestern Zamora. Halfway between ethnography, visual poetry, and sentimental chronicle, the work is presented as a tribute to those who have inhabited and continue to inhabit this corner of the province, resisting oblivion with dignity. As its author indicates, "it does not seek to idealize the past, but rather to reconcile it with the present," asserting the importance of narrating the local story as a form of cultural resistance. In times of depopulation and rural disconnection, this work seeks to connect generations through memory and words. This edition is especially aimed at those who know Sanabria and Carballeda, those who love Zamora , and those who understand that literature can also be a refuge where the history of a small town becomes a collective heritage.
