Long before the existence of what we know today as All Souls' Day or Halloween, the Celtic people celebrated Samhain, the end of summer and the transition to winter. On that night, these Celtic people believed that the boundary between the world of the living and the dead disappeared, allowing spirits to return to the world of the living. Our proposal aims to maintain the magical spirit of Samhain, and to do so, we will use two resources: graphic art and shadow puppetry, through stick puppets made from linoleum sheets.

Celebrate Halloween at the library!

  • Age : 6 to 8 years.

  • Duration : 75 min.
  • Participants : 15 children.
  • Location : multipurpose room of the library.
  • Failure to attend without notice will result in a penalty.

Additional Information

RPLA is the application we must use to register children for library activities that require it. Children must have a user card and know their password. Their reader card must include their date of birth, mobile phone number, and email address.

Registration will remain open until half an hour before the start of the activity.

If you need to cancel your participation in an activity, please do so as soon as possible to give another user the opportunity to register. If you fail to do so, RPLA will not allow you to register for the following month's activities. Registrations may be canceled up to 30 minutes before the start of the activity.

RPLA does not accept reservations.
