Spanish Cinema Day commemorated with the screening and discussion of "Sin Señal" by Daniel Santos.

It's two movies in one.

Synopsis of the first story: After a lifetime of disasters, "the guard" is given one last chance at a mountain hamlet. He just has to keep curious people away from the house and... contain his own curiosity.

Meanwhile, a traveler drives back home through the mountains, longing to reach his family but enjoying the journey. Everything changes when the road becomes an adventure, and solitude is his only companion.

Synopsis of the second story: No, we're not going to reveal the hidden story. You'll have to uncover it by paying attention to the clues that appear from the beginning to the credits. But...

It's time to immerse yourself in "No Signal" and discover the two worlds that live beneath its skin.

About the director: After a few years working as an engineer and devoting his free time to music, writing, and video, Daniel Santos decided to pursue his dreams and dedicate all his time to his passion.

In addition to the film "Sin Señal" and its soundtrack, Daniel Santos directed and produced "Un rincón del universo," which won the Best Documentary Short Film award at the 2019 "Festival de Cine Hecho en Canarias - Secuencia 27."

This August, he completed directing, producing, and editing the short documentary "Echoes," about mental health among university students in Spain. He remains involved in several audiovisual and musical projects.
