The Valladolid East Primary Care Department is organizing a talk on gluten intolerance as part of the 3rd Health Week.
In this talk, nurses Verónica Casanova and Mariola de Arriba will address the topic of gluten intolerance, which is so common today. What is gluten intolerance? Are we talking about it properly?
Health Week is an event dedicated to promoting healthy habits and the overall well-being of the community. During the week of October 6-10, various activities, workshops, talks, and informational campaigns are held to raise awareness about the importance of taking care of one's physical, mental, and emotional health. The main objective is to promote active and responsible lifestyles, prevent diseases through education, and motivate people to adopt healthy practices, such as healthy eating, regular exercise, stress management, responsible medication use, and more. In addition, Health Week typically includes vaccination campaigns, sports activities, free medical evaluations, and awareness-raising events on topics such as mental health, responsible substance use, and personal hygiene. In short, this week is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of self-care and to strengthen the community through health and well-being.
