The workshop's objective is to vindicate the literary legacy of women, so often relegated to the background throughout history. It is typically held on the Monday closest to October 15, the anniversary of Teresa de Jesús's death. Designed and coordinated by María Antonia Moreno Mulas , a specialist in in-person and virtual reading clubs, librarian, and teacher.

It's a hybrid reading club and writing workshop, delivered through newsletters and complemented by two in-person sessions. An experiential reading that guides us through writing as a tool for communication and creativity.

It is based on a virtual communication channel, the newsletter, which focuses on reading and writing, as well as face-to-face meetings:

  • Sending a monthly newsletter or letter with information about the author (biography, bibliography, background) and other interesting resources for viewing, listening, and reading (podcasts, documentaries, videos, music), as well as the reference bibliography used in the letter. It will also include writing prompts, questions, games, etc. The letter will be sent directly to the email inbox of registered readers, establishing a one-on-one correspondence.
  • The coordinator will visit the library twice , holding two face-to-face meetings with readers (lasting 90 minutes) in which she will develop complementary activities related to reading and writing: conversation, gathering sensations and suggestions, reading texts aloud, etc.
  • These meetings will take place on Wednesdays, October 8th , starting at 6:30 p.m., and on Wednesdays, December 3rd , starting at 6:30 p.m.
