The term "fantasy" refers to a type of musical composition characterized by its free structure and improvisational nature. In the Baroque era, fantasy emerged as a form that transcended formal structures, allowing composers to unleash their imaginations. This freedom is explored in today's program, where the music of Georg Philipp Telemann and Johann Joachim Quantz comes to life through their Fantasies for solo flute, complemented by improvised preludes.

This program is a dialogue between past and present. Through written fantasies and improvisations, a bridge is created between historical tradition and real-time creation, reminding us that Baroque music, at its core, is a living and constantly evolving art.
