In this exhibition, although glass is the protagonist, it intertwines with iron, clay, esparto grass, and seeds, which engage in dialogue with nature and industrial processes. The aim is to balance, through art, the tensions and contradictions inherent in life and human relationships.

Balancing Opposites invites the viewer on a sensorial and emotional journey, in which each work becomes a reflection of the chiaroscuro of existence. A path that, in the author's own words, is sometimes white, sometimes black, but always in search of an unattainable balance.

Julia Castro is a distinguished visual artist with nearly 40 years of experience. Her creativity and technical skill have led her to work with a wide variety of materials and create prints.

Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her talent and dedication with several awards that highlight the quality of her work, as well as her selection in several fine arts biennials in Barcelona and Madrid. She has presented her work in major cities, including Barcelona, Bruges, Salamanca, Plasencia, and Madrid.

Julia Castro's work stands out not only for its technique and quality, but also for her constant search for new artistic languages.
