In this workshop, we'll have a great time experimenting with Bárbara de Aymerich. We'll learn what fibers and fabrics our clothes are made of, their moisture- and tear-resistant properties, how they are colored using textile pigments that bind to the fibers, and we'll discuss the chemicals used in finishes to give them softening and antistatic properties. Finally, we'll learn about smart fabrics treated with technology that have hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties, ensuring they neither get wet nor stained.

  • Age: 7 to 12 years.

  • Participants : 15 children.
  • Location : 1st floor of the library.
  • Failure to attend without notice will result in a penalty.

Additional Information

RPLA is the application we use to register children for library activities that require it. Children must have a user card and know their password. Their reader card must include their date of birth, mobile phone number, and email address.

Registration will remain open until half an hour before the start of the activity.

If you need to cancel your participation in an activity, please do so as soon as possible to give another user the opportunity to register. If you fail to do so, RPLA will not allow you to register for the following month's activities. Registrations may be canceled up to 30 minutes before the start of the activity.

RPLA does not accept reservations.
