Fresnillo de las Dueñas is an ancient town at the foot of the river Duero. Its past can be seen in the large houses that remain standing today and the town's three churches. Its set of wine cellars and underground wine-presses are a further sign that Fresnillo is a riverside town of Burgos. The Gothic, 17th century parish church is in the Plaza Mayor. Inside the church are images of the four Evangelists, sculptures attributed to Diego de Siloé. One can also visit the Ermita de San Pedro de Bourges.
