"Crossing the Border" was created to explore, understand, and celebrate a unique historical territory: the natural border of the Duero River and its tributaries, where Castilla y León and Portugal meet amidst spectacular landscapes, traditional culture, and amazing cuisine. This first motorcycle touring route offers a weekend of discovery, camaraderie, and open road adventures.

The meeting point is Fermoselle, the heart of the Arribes del Duero. Its steep streets, houses perched on the cliffs, and breathtaking viewpoints hint at the character of the trip. Those arriving on Friday can enjoy a historical walk among hermitages, archways, and the Castle of Doña Urraca, or discover its more than a thousand wine cellars, some dating back to the Middle Ages. In the evening, a welcome dinner will provide an opportunity to meet your fellow travelers.
