The Teatro Corsario company was founded in 1982. Its long history is characterized by a highly distinctive approach to classic Spanish-language plays, which has placed it among the most important verse theater companies. It stages innovative puppet shows for adults of international renown and, occasionally, contemporary theater.

Pirate Scenes . A dramatized reading featuring scenes from the company's past performances, accompanied by music. An informative and charming recital in the style of previous ones, based on excerpts from works by Calderón de la Barca, Lope de Vega, Agustín Moreto, and José Zorrilla.
