FiloSOFTfía is a cultural project that aims to make philosophy accessible to people of all ages and interests, regardless of prior knowledge. The intention of this workshop is to foster an interest in philosophy among people of all ages, creating spaces for dialogue at the Salamanca Public Library.
The main objective is to facilitate the meeting and debate on current problems from original and intriguing perspectives, through courses, workshops and round tables on philosophy.

Why do we need philosophy?
Project by Professor Antonio Bentivegna.
Antonio Bentivegna studied Philosophy at the University of Messina, Italy, and at the University of Salamanca, where he also worked as a research fellow and teaching assistant. He earned his doctorate in Spanish Philology from The Ohio State University and for eight years taught Literature, Spanish Language, and Philosophy at the same university and at Colgate University (NY).
Since 2020, she has taught Philosophy and Spanish Language and Literature at various international, private, and semi-private schools in Madrid and Barcelona. She also leads workshops and cultural activities aimed at making philosophical reflection and literary creation accessible to audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and interests, fostering dialogue between thought, art, and lived experience.
He is also a member of the Association of Hispanists "Nineteenth Century" (AHSXIX) and collaborates with the University of Valladolid on various research projects, where he publishes studies and articles of a philosophical, pedagogical and literary nature.
