On Tuesday, December 9th, at 6:30 pm, we will enjoy the show "Sing Me a Story" by Estrella Ortiz, in our Children's Room for family audiences.
A teacher, storyteller, and founder of the iconic Fuegos Fatuos company, Estrella Ortiz began telling stories in the 1980s and, since then, has toured stages around the world sharing the magic of the spoken word. A pioneer and driving force behind the Guadalajara Storytelling Marathon , she is also the author of Contar con los cuentos (Telling Stories), a seminal work on the theory of oral storytelling.
This time, Estrella invites us to enjoy a family storytelling session with her most beloved character, Rotundifolia , in a session where short stories and rhyming tales unfold through unique book-objects, created to accompany the words and awaken the imagination of young and old.
