On Thursday, December 18th , in the Auditorium of the Palencia Public Library, the Azar Teatro
company presents its play , The Neverending Story. A portrait of the writer Carmen Martín Gaite, a writer who opened many doors closed to women in those years. A novelist and essayist who revealed the many nuances hidden within seemingly mundane lives.
Azar Teatro was founded in 1990, and since then, its productions have been an expression of the freedom of themes, techniques, and resources that the performing arts demand. Practicing their profession with freedom, yet assuming the responsibility that entails, they meticulously attend to every aspect of their work, creating a unique style that doesn't define a specific theatrical genre, but rather a particular way of doing things. A stable and open team, where the constant flow of ideas and the exchange of experiences generate a dynamic and creative spirit that explores all the expressive possibilities that theater offers.
