Ana Penyas (Valencia, 1987) is a Spanish illustrator and comic book author with a background in Industrial Design and Fine Arts. She began her career in self-publishing projects and artist residencies, standing out for her social and gender-focused perspective. In 2017, she published Estamos todas bien (We're All Fine ), a graphic novel about the memories of her grandmothers and the silenced female generation. The work won the FNAC/Salamandra Graphic Award and established her as a new voice in comics. In 2018, she was named Breakthrough Author at the Barcelona Comic Fair. That same year, she became the first woman to win the National Comic Award.

He continued his career with *Todo bajo el sol* (2021), which won an award from ACDCómic in 2022. In 2024, he designed the poster for the Valencia Book Fair , and in 2025 he published *En vela* , a work that delves into precariousness and mental health. This year he also began a documentary project in the Vite neighborhood of Santiago de Compostela.
