C'est à Becerril de Campos, à environ cinq kilomètres du Canal de Castilla. Le Canal entraîna ici la construction de six aqueducs: La Barquilla, San Pelayo, Santa María, Santocilde, Arenales et El Belloto; à côté des châteaux d’eau de Arenales, au kilomètre 98, et de celui de Santa María, vers le kilomètre 94.
