On Monday, December 15th, at 6:30 pm, Víctor Fuertes will present his book.

Renata is a somewhat frail girl who is missing an arm, and because of this, her orphanage companions consider her useless. The arrival of Miss Tita, the new director, confronts her with new fears and problems, making her life even more complicated. However, a bizarre circus made up of pirates, who like her also have some kind of disability, sets up in Puerto Pollo and ends up teaching her to overcome her limitations, showing her that they are, precisely, what makes us extraordinary…

Victor Fuertes Melón (texts and illustrations)
Born in Leon in 1986, he is a biologist and professor.
He combines his work as an illustrator with that of a writer. He has illustrated some sixty books and, for the past two years, has embarked on the adventure of creative writing. Since then, his texts have been published in ten books. Six of these are short story anthologies, the result of his being a finalist in various competitions, and he has four as the sole author. His two most recent books are "Legends of Leon" (2024) and his current work, "A Pirate Circus" (2025), with which he ventures into children's literature.
