The Zamora Public Library presents an exhibition about Agustín García Calvo . It offers a selection from the extensive documentary collection of Agustín García Calvo's work held by Editorial Lucina , which is constantly being organized and digitized.

Mainly, we are encouraged to be able to bring people closer, and especially people from Zamora, to some facets of his writings, voices and experiences, which are less known, referring to his early years and studies, and his memory always of Zamora, whose memory appears in many texts and talks.

But above all, we will try to step aside and let his voice and words tell us about the whole exhibition. To do this, we have taken as our starting point a recording of a lecture given at the Juan March Foundation in 2010, entitled Intellectual Autobiography (transcribed and later published by Lucina under the title Things One Does ). In it, by tracing his entire life trajectory, writings, lectures, talks, courses, joys and discontents, he will guide us through what we have selected as milestones or 'sparks' (perhaps the most striking or relevant to the visitor's interest), given the enormous amount of documentation we have and the complexity of a long life full of dedication to the enjoyment of discovery, study and commitment in various facets, in which he shares with us.

Thus, through our gaze, his voice and writings will open our eyes and ears with his proposals and analyses: against the lies of the world in which we live, especially the regime of Money, to say No and encouraging us against Reality which, as he repeats to us, 'is not all there is'.
