An educational piano concert by Icíar Serrano, professor at the Rafael Frühbeck Professional Music Conservatory. The term "Classicism" in music owes much to the revival of the principles of Greco-Roman classical culture. The composers of the Viennese Classical period best exemplify this; among them are Gluck, Haydn, Mozart, and the early Beethoven. From these compositional principles emerged genres such as the symphony, the string quartet, and the piano sonata, which remain relevant today. Our piano program features symphonies and sonatas by W.A. Mozart.
