Ravel's Bolero is the most performed musical work in the world, the most popular, the most present in the collective unconscious. To dance it today with a free and joyful attitude, to speak to all generations, is the wish of choreographer Gilles Verièpe.

Beyond its relentless and hypnotic rhythm, it is the joy of the work that the artist wishes to share. His Bolero is danced by two, to convey, in a light but profoundly intelligent way, the infinite possibilities of the body in motion.

Gilles Verièpe has created a playful choreography full of surprises, made of movement and disruptions. He explores the gestures of children's play—liberating, joyful, and lighthearted. He blends dance genres and draws inspiration from everyday gestures. Spontaneity and the life force dominate. And the duo takes us by surprise, playing with melody, tempo, and even dance itself—simply for the sheer pleasure of it!

Genre: Dance. Style: Contemporary. Duration: 40 min .

Show included in the programming of the Network of Theatres of Castilla y León
