Olivia, the protagonist of this story, lives in a small town near the forest. Olivia has a secret: she possesses a special gift—she can communicate with animals.

Thanks to this gift, one day she discovers that the lake is drying up and that the fish need to reach the sea. They ask her to find feathers to help them. At that moment, Olivia begins an intense search to collect dozens of feathers. She asks them from sparrows, migrating storks, and the fearsome eagle.

After some time, Olivia collects a great many feathers, but she doesn't know what to do with them. One night, while gazing at the starry sky, the wind carries away each of her feathers, setting in motion a true magic: Olivia will understand the reason for so many feathers, leading to a surprising ending.
