Over the years, The Last Quarter has performed numerous special concerts honoring great artists of the jazz scene. This time, their performance will be a tribute to Louis Armstrong, featuring the vocals of Gabriel Baloucoume.

The Last Quarter is a gypsy jazz quartet consisting of two acoustic guitars (Maccaferri style), a double bass, and a piano. The group's style draws on the great standards of American swing . There, it would be called gypsy jazz in homage to the Gypsy guitarist of Gypsy ethnicity, Django Reinhardt, who became its leading exponent along with violinist Stéphane Grappelli.

The Last Quarter was formed in Salamanca as a trio in 2010 (two guitars and a double bass). Since 2011, after the addition of a violin, later replaced by a piano, the group has maintained a quartet formation, occasionally collaborating with different instrumentalists and singers.

All performances will be held in the library's auditorium.
