"Silences" is not just a series of paintings; it's an attempt to capture that precise moment when the world seems to hold its breath and the landscape stands still. I don't seek calm when I paint; what captivates me is that almost magical atmosphere that arises when fog, cold, or that last-minute low light transforms the everyday into something extraordinary.
In this series, I wanted to blend recent pieces with older ones where the horizon and the material itself are paramount. I enjoy losing myself in the textures, playing with the dry vegetation that peeks out in the foreground to contrast it with the depth of the background. Ultimately, it's my way of understanding my surroundings: working with respect, with skill, and above all, letting the painting itself speak.
