Deciphering the United States: An Approach Through Language and Culture , by Fernando G. Herrero

What is currently happening in the United States? Has Trump's arrival marked a turning point in American society and culture? Through these talks, you will gain insight into the United States of today: the most (self-)mythologized, dominant, imposing, superlative, exportable, and influential society. The content of each of the two talks will provide attendees with ideas, guidelines, clues, and insights, allowing them to draw their own conclusions. There will also be time for discussion and the exchange of ideas among all participants.
