Thursday, April 23, World Book and Copyright Day

Once again, the Zamora Public Library is celebrating World Book and Copyright Day on April 23rd with a virtual collective reading of Don Quixote. Since 2020, due to the exceptional circumstances of the health crisis at that time, this commemoration has taken place online in the form of a video featuring contributions from readers in their homes. Although the reading was held in the library's auditorium in 2015, this year we are returning to the virtual format to facilitate the participation of readers from all over the world.

Those interested should send a message indicating the name and age of the readers before Thursday , March 26 at 3:00 p.m. to the email address bpezamora@gmail.com.

The library will send the assigned text to each reader so they can record a video of themselves reading it and send it to the same email address before Thursday, April 9th ​​at 3:00 PM . If the initial email indicated that a minor wishes to participate, they will also receive an authorization form to appear on the library's social media, which must be completed by their parents or legal guardians and sent to the library along with the video.
