All Landscapes, One Landscape is the new project from Couleur Café Jazz Quartet , in which each song contains one or many stories, and where the passage of time is expressed in landscapes built from affections and ways of seeing and listening. The group returns with a new sound to give us their vision of these landscapes and to tell us the stories that sustain them and anchor them to our memory and our history.
Marisa Marzo (vocals), a student of jazz singer Celia Mur, with whom she has worked on modern singing and improvisation. She has attended seminars on modern music, singing workshops, vocal technique, and improvisation while continuing to explore new avenues in singing.
Alejandro Martínez (piano), a classically trained pianist and professor at the Higher Conservatory, his relationship with music is based on continuous study and curiosity about different musical languages, especially improvisation and jazz.
Pancho Ruano (double bass), with his deep understanding of classic jazz, provides a solid and expressive foundation for the group. His ability to create captivating bass lines adds depth and rhythm to the quartet's distinctive sound.
Javier Barragués (drums) has been part of various instrumental groups and ensembles of different styles. He is characterized by the simplicity and clarity of his playing and the passion he brings to his live performances.
All performances will be held in the library's auditorium.
Free entry until capacity is reached.
