César Valverde Luján was born in Valladolid in 1960, has published several books of poetry, and is linked to the emerging groups of poets that have arisen in the capital of the Pisuerga.
A self-taught poet by vocation, attracted to social realism and the dialectic of the Generation of '50, and especially to its members Jose Ángel Valente, Jaime Gil de Biedma and Ángel González.
