"How to make a book: we bind a mini-book in a hardcover"

The library invites children to participate in our upcoming Handmade Bookbinding Workshop with Sara Mañoso. A unique opportunity to discover the world of books from a practical and creative perspective, transforming simple materials into a unique cultural object.

The aim of this workshop is for participants to connect with the book in a different way:

  • Anatomy of the book: We will discover what lies behind the covers and how the pages are structured.
  • Handcrafted construction: We will learn, step by step, the process of making a hardcover book.
  • Final project: Each student will make their own bound mini-book to take home as a souvenir.
  • Age: Aimed at boys and girls from 6 years old.
