On Thursday, May 14th , at 7:00 p.m. , in the Auditorium of the Palencia Public Library, the presentation of the book How I Fell in Love with an Elf by Paloma Ruiz-Rivas will take place.

Lucía is depressed and disillusioned: she never imagined that her boyfriend and her best friend would be capable of betraying her. And to top it all off, she's failed her course and won't be able to go on vacation.

One afternoon, while strolling through the park, she stumbles upon a young man acting strangely. He looks unlike anyone she's ever seen and behaves as if he's out of place. Yet, against all reason, she feels compelled to help him and takes him home. From that moment on, reality takes on a new dimension.

Thanks to the stranger, Lucía discovers that the world is bigger than it seems, embarks on a journey upon which the life of an impossible person depends, and falls in love with a being that cannot exist. And meanwhile, in the world from which the stranger comes, life becomes more complicated…
