WOMAN AS CHARACTER. FROM PANDORA TO THE 21ST CENTURY

'Woman as a character' is a vision of the role played by women in the history of Humanity.

Throughout history, female characters have been used to flesh out and flesh out, most often, the male characters they accompanied. In this sense, literature is a faithful reflection of the societies it describes.

Therefore, in this show, Ana i Roncero guides the audience on a journey that takes us from the Greek myth of Pandora to "the" Miranda of our contemporary text "When the Sky Makes Fritters" by Arístides Vargas, passing through Medea from Euripides' play (5th century BC), Celestina from Fernando de Rojas' play (16th century), Laurencia from "Fuenteovejuna" by Lope de Vega (17th century), and the characters of Adela and Poncia from "The House of Bernarda Alba" by García Lorca (20th century). And a few more that will surprise us.

Genre: Theatre. Style: Dramatic. Duration: 60 min.

Show included in the programming of the Scenic Circuits of Castilla y León.
