Irene Mesonero "Polilla"

From the beginning of her professional career, she has performed in public and municipal libraries in Zamora, for both family and adult audiences, in both English and Spanish. In recent years, she has led storytelling sessions linked to themed festivals (Christmas, Carnival, Magosto, etc.) at "Manolita's Storytellers: Café Bar Manolita," the iconic bar in Salamanca. She participated in the 11th International Festival of Erotic Tales (Zamora) in 2022 and has been a participant in the "Narrar Enamora" International Oral Storytelling Festival (Zamora) since its first edition (2023). She was selected as an unheard storyteller for the 33rd Guadalajara Storytelling Marathon.

Lack of

Growing up means understanding that we will always lack something: that which will never arrive, that which we once lost. And yet, we keep going, searching for happiness despite that void that runs through us, trying to embrace that "lack-ness" to build moments that have meaning…

This is a show where each story offers a deep and emotional look at those losses and searches, about everything we have in common even without having lived it, in an atmosphere where music and story merge into one.
