This workshop on encouraging theatrical reading combines theater exercises, physical expression, voice, and emotions with dramatized readings of adapted classics. Participants work on reading aloud and the theatricality of the texts to foster improved language skills, comprehension, and expression in children, as well as vocabulary expansion and enhancement of pronunciation, intonation, and vocalization.
And on the last day... world premiere in front of the audience!
The workshop consists of four sessions: July 13, 14, 15 and 16.
- Age : 6 to 8 years.
- Registration : from June 30th at 9:00 AM at RPLA: Access to registration for library events This link will open in a pop-up window.
- Duration : 120 min.
- Participants : 15 children.
- Location : multipurpose room of the library.
- Failure to attend without notice will result in a penalty.
Additional Information
RPLA is the application we must use to register children for library activities that require it. Children must have a user card and know their password. Their reader card must include their date of birth, mobile phone number, and email address.
Registration will remain open until half an hour before the start of the activity.
If you need to cancel your participation in an activity, please do so as soon as possible to give another user the opportunity to register. If you fail to do so, RPLA will not allow you to register for the following month's activities. Registrations may be canceled up to 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
RPLA does not accept reservations.
