On Monday , June 29th at 7:00 pm , a concert will be held in the Renaissance courtyard of the Palacio del Licenciado Butrón , in Plaza de Santa Brigida, s/n., headquarters of the General Archive, as part of the activities commemorating this year's International Archives Week (#IAW2026) , which took place from June 8th to 12th under the global theme "Archives for Justice. Rights, Memory and Futures".

Under the title "The Symphony of the Archives" , the string quartet composed of Guillermo Díaz, Guadalupe Benítez, Diego Montaña and Juan José Montero , will accompany the actor Iker Segovia with their repertoire, who will narrate the history of archives and archival science.

Music and archives accompany, contextualize, and mutually reflect the social and cultural advances that have led to the development of both.

G. Allegri: Miserere mei, deus .

JS Bach: Air from the third orchestral suite .

WA Mozart: A Little Night Music .

A. Dvorak: II movement of the 12th string quartet "American" .

D. Shostakovich: First movement of quartet 8 .

A. Pärt: Fratres .

Admission is free until capacity is reached. Access to the building will be through the door on Santa Brígida Square.
