From the Moradillo de Roa Town Hall we want to share with you the call for the 1st Open Air Quick Painting Competition ¿El Cotarro¿ , a new cultural proposal that will take place next Saturday, August 29, 2026 , within the program of the Cotarro Swing Festival .

We would love to have your participation; it is aimed at artists, painting enthusiasts, or people linked to the creative field who may be interested in participating.

The competition will take place in the unique Barrio de Bodegas "El Cotarro" , one of the most representative ethnographic complexes of the Ribera del Duero region of Burgos, awarded by Europa Nostra , with the aim of highlighting the heritage, landscape and traditional architecture through open-air painting.

  • Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026
  • Location: "El Cotarro" Winery Neighborhood - Moradillo de Roa (Burgos)
  • Participant reception: 11:00 am
  • Competition Inicio : 11:15 am
  • Delivery of works: 5:00 PM
  • Awards ceremony: 8:30 p.m. (within the festival program)

In addition, all participants will receive a welcome gift , including a screen-printed event cup and vintage beer .
