A multidisciplinary show with ten artists on stage and a recreation of Houdini's most spectacular tricks, offering a fascinating journey through his life. Houdini, Story of a Death has it all: theater, magic, escapism, dance, spectacular costumes and staging—even a séance! Houdini appears confessing his defeat at the hands of death, yet claiming his place in history. Or in legend. Because he himself forged an aura of mystery around his persona. And that is why, in what seems to be his final hour, he decides to bid farewell to his audience with one last great trick: the one in which he will recount his life and his death.
