Sandra San Miguel leads a workshop on reading, observation, and reflection on eclipses, based on the illustrated non-fiction book *Eclipses: When the Light Disappears *. The activity will begin with the observation of an illustration related to the phenomenon, which will serve to activate participants' prior knowledge through the See-Think-Wonder thinking routine.

Based on the image, children will be able to formulate hypotheses about what is happening, express their initial ideas, and ask questions. Following this, a shared reading of selected sections of the book will take place to discover what an eclipse is, why it occurs, and how we can understand it through images, conversation, and scientific curiosity. The workshop will combine reading, dialogue, play, and short visual exploration activities.

As a closing activity, a Color-Symbol-Image synthesis routine will be conducted, in which each participant will represent what they have learned through a color, a symbol, and an image. This exercise will allow for the creative collection of the workshop's main ideas and make the children's thinking visible through reading and observation.
