Other Stories from the Archive of the Indies is a research project and artistic endeavor in which leading writers from the region engage with documents preserved in the General Archive of the Indies. This project, a collaboration between the Hay Festival and CAF, aims to bring the archive's vast documentary collection to a wider audience, rescuing some of the many recorded stories from a diversity of perspectives. These texts have been compiled in an anthology titled Other Stories from the Archive of the Indies , published by Anagrama. Argentine writer Martín Caparrós , the director of the General Archive of the Indies, Carlos Flores , and the anthology's editor, Erna von der Walde , will discuss their work and the publishing project with Cristina Fuentes La Roche .

At the end of the event, the authors will sign their books.
