Lola Eiffel's performance combines dance, spoken word, and memory in a work that draws on the artist's own family life. Bernarda is the name of her great-grandmother, a woman who lived through the Spanish Civil War and its aftermath, marked by the execution of her husband Froilán in a small town in Zamora on the same day as the poet Federico García Lorca.

The show can be nothing other than a tribute to freedom, memory and peace and a call to reflect on the past, which is always present and also future.
