What would happen if forgotten Spain became the continent's nuclear waste dump?

César Esteban Muñoz explains it to us in *Ni un paso más* (Not One Step Further) , a hefty comic of distinctly Castilian, rural, and mutant science fiction that takes us to an Old Castile devastated by radiation, where its inhabitants survive amidst ruins, misery, violence, and hidden agendas. Into this brutal landscape appears Maroto, a motorcycle mutant as improbable as he is essential, drawn into a story of old grudges, dark humor, and a cutthroat struggle for survival. A grotesque and ferocious dystopia that transforms the apocalypse into a monstrosity filled with mud, malice, and mutant humanity.

César Esteban Muñoz is a Segovian author who has been a fixture on the national comics scene since the 1980s, when he contributed to the legendary Toutain magazines Tótem and Comix . His star character is the motorcycle mutant Maroto, whose adventures began to be published in the fanzines Garabato and Cretino.
