On Friday, October 2nd at 7:30 p.m. , in the Auditorium of the Palencia Public Library, the book " Cerrato insólito. Anecdotario de su paisanaje. (Vol. 2)" by Fernando Pastor Valdeolmillos will be presented. Published by Arauz Ediciones.

This book offers a glimpse into the Cerrato region through its events, customs, celebrations, traditional trades, and endearing characters, reflecting the way of life and the feelings of its people. The edition compiles some of the work the author has carried out over the last twenty years, during which he has traveled the length and breadth of the Cerrato territory, discovering the 88 towns and villages that make up this region in the provinces of Palencia, Valladolid , and Burgos. On each of his journeys, Fernando Pastor has spoken with residents of different towns and villages, seeking to understand the defining characteristics of each and with the aim of preserving the knowledge and wisdom linked to their traditional culture.
