The Castilian and Leonese Institute of Language and the Simoneta cultural project are promoting a live recording of a new session of the cultural podcast "¿Seguimos o no?" (Shall We Continue or Not ?) at the Palacio de la Isla in Burgos on Monday, October 5th, at 7:30 pm. The guests for this new session of this dialogue space are bookseller Álvaro Manso, president of the Burgos Booksellers Association and vice president of the Spanish Confederation of Booksellers' Guilds and Associations (CEGAL), and Lara Martínez, from the Burgos bookstore Margof. The podcast is conceived as a space for public, reflective, and intimate conversation about the doubts, decisions, and conditions faced by those involved in the book creation cycle.

This episode, " Living from Books (or Around Them)," focuses on the professional community of booksellers, who are part of the book industry and ecosystem through their role as intermediaries. It analyzes the dynamics of precariousness, self-exploitation, and commitment inherent in these jobs.
